I thought this might be a great idea for parents and children in the hospital - a Golden Book along with matching finger puppets. And it can be done with many different books. We'll see if they like it next week!
I'm doing something similar - a fun kids book about penguins and a little penguin stuffy, tucked in a drawstring bag decorated with a penguin applique :) I've sent the set to one g-nephew so far, and have been cutting out the fabrics to make similar kits for the rest of the kids in the family (along with my neighbours' littlies) for Christmas!

ReplyDeleteThey will love it!!! I have a set of finger puppets that I bought to go with "Wombat Stew" and the kids never tire of acting along with the story.
