REMINDER & DELIVERY TO KIDS!

REMINDER:  One more day to enter the Halloween giveaway.  Ends Sunday.  Click here to enter!

Another delivery to Sacred Heart Children's Hospital.  They needed small pillows and I made some dolls too.

These pillows are from the Precious Patterns Baby Animal Softies pattern and the Baby Animals Applique pattern.  The two small dolls are Bit of Whimsey's Harry and Ginny pattern.

I loved Bit of Whimsey's Baby Bunting Pattern and thought the kids as well as the nurses could use these dolls.  The Baby Bunting goes along with her 11" baby dolls or animals.  The kids can dress and play with them and the nurses can explain procedures using the dolls.  And it is all very easy to make!

And I made a few extra dolls for some of the older children using Precious Patterns Kilah and Keesha Doll Pattern.  Made 2 boys by leaving off the girl pig tails and adding a simple hat!  Nettie, who I work with from the hospital, already had a boy in mind for the Spongebob doll!  The girl dolls I added a small felt purse to with a small felt animal.

Now I'm working on Halloween pillows, dolls and finger puppets!  Have I told you I JUST LOVE DOING THIS!

  1. I love the Baby Bunting dolls!

Have you heard of the book "Craft-A-Day"? I'm reviewing it (official release date is October 2nd) and immediately thought of you as it has patterns for lots of small felt creations.

I was wondering if I might link over to your blog in my review as an example of a wonderful way to use the book?
