A FEW MORE THINGS FINISHED

Finished 3 Matroyshka dolls with finger puppets.  The pattern for the doll is by Precious Patterns on Etsy.  It's easy and fun to make.  I drew out the finger puppets and added a front pocket to the doll to hold them.  

Pillows with finger puppets are a big hit with the kids.  Gives them something to hold and something to play with.  I've made the alien spaceship pillow before and finally got around to making another.  Finger puppets are great because you can get them drawn out and ready to sew during the day and sew them by hand in front of the TV at night.  I always draw/trace the pieces onto freezer paper and iron the paper onto wool felt.  Then I cut out the design and sew.

This is an awesome finger puppet pattern and you can download it at Crack of Dawn Crafts blog.  She has lots of patterns for you!  I then drew out a simple spaceship.  The bottom piece is sew on 3 sides with the top open.  The top of the ship is sewn all the way around.  That makes a pocket in the middle to hold the puppets.
